Meet the Doctors

Dr. Carolyn Essington is the owner of Essington Family Chiropractic. She is originally from Bayville NJ, and has been providing Gonstead Chiropractic care to the Beachwood Community for the past 30 years. 

Dr. Carolyn got her Bachelors of Chemistry at Seton Hall University. She continued her education through Logan College of Chiropractic, where she graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic. A few years later, she went back to school and received her Masters of Nutrition through Logan University. Her love and devotion for health and wellness through chiropractic care has inspired her children to be in the healthcare profession,  two of  them became chiropractors as well. Dr. Carolyn loves being outdoors, she enjoys biking and taking her dogs on walks. 

Dr. Nick Essington has been getting regular adjustments since he was a few minutes old,  and he knew he always wanted to become a chiropractor and work with his mother. Dr. Nick grew up in Brick, NJ and graduated from Misericordia University with a Bachelors in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He then continued his education becoming a Doctor of Chiropractor in 2019, graduating from Logan University, and since has joined Essington Family Chiropractic. Throughout his life he has played many sports and has a passion for swimming. Dr. Nick enjoys helping athletes and people of all ages improve their health and overall wellness.

Dr. Kemmy Ritter is originally from Brazil and moved to the United States in 2010 to learn English. She got her associates in Life Sciences in California, and was pursuing a Biochemistry in BYU-Idaho  before she transferred to Logan University. While a student, Dr. Kemmy had the opportunity to represent the chiropractic profession and advocate for patients at the Capitol Hill, and different continents in health events including the WHA (World Health Assembly) at the WHO (World Health Organization) in Switzerland. She graduated from Logan University in 2019,  upon which she joined Essington Family Chiropractic in Beachwood, NJ.  

Dr. Kemmy enjoys working with mamas, babies and their entire family. She focuses on function and performance, making sure patients move beyond symptom management and towards a state of optimal health and well being.
